The number of Americans living with Alzheimer’s disease is growing rapidly, according to the Alzheimer’s Association. Some 5.7 million Americans currently have the disease. 5.5 million of them aged 65 and older. By 2025, the number of seniors with Alzheimer's could reach 7.1 million, up nearly 29 percent. Every 65 seconds, someone in the United States develops Alzheimer's disease. By 2050, that will occur every 33 seconds, the experts said.
As new and natural remedy tool to fight against Alzheimer, numbers of researchers andscientific academies of the world are discovering that unique anthocyanins from blackcurrant extract (BCE) may have specific beneficial effects on Alzheimer through other physiologically effected points than cholesterol lowering and apolipoprotein isoform, which are believed to be the partial cause of Alzheimer disease.
